Ab Vroegindeweij 25 years music teacher.
Ab Vroegindeweij started his teaching career at the Ichtus College in Veenendaal, then at the Van Lodenstein college in Hoevelaken and finally he worked at the Wartburg College in Rotterdam. At the age of 15 he obtained his first organ diplomas at the V.O.G.G and the N.O.V. He then studied at the conservatories in Tilburg and Hilversum and obtained the final diplomas for the main subjects Organ and School Music. When he was an organist for 25 years, he celebrated this with a concert on the beautiful 3-manual Moreau organ in the St. Jan in Gouda. He played works by Galuppi, C.P.E. Bach, Bohm and K.J. Mulder (Ps. 48.6).
In 2020 he had been a church organist for 36 years and as such was affiliated with the H.H.G. in Middelharnis/Sommelsdijk. As a conductor he was associated with the Chr. Gem. Rehoboth choir in Sommelsdijk. Ab passed away in 2020.
