Ageeth de Haan grew up in the northern part of Holland in a large family. Both her father and mother sing, and each of the eight children plays an instrument. Ageeth, who takes guitar and singing lessons, knows from a young age that she wants to pursue a career in music. She studies at the Kleinkunstacademie (Academy of Performing Arts) and also studies jazz/pop singing at the Conservatory. By chance, she ends up working in care for intellectually disabled individuals, where she uses music to stimulate development. To deepen this role, she studies orthopedagogical music guidance. She has released 13 CDs, some of which are accompanied by picture books in collaboration with various illustrators.
