She also took part in several music festivals including the Banff International Festival, the Orford Arts Centre, and the Mozarteum in Salzburg. Alisa has gained much performing experience in Canada and The Netherlands through solo concerts, chamber music recitals, and orchestra performances. In 2012 Alisa returned to The Netherlands to study violin with Ilona Sie Dhian Ho at the Prins Claus Conservatorium. Two years later Alisa graduated with her Music Performance diploma. Alisa has taught violin for several years and in the last few years has also performed as a vocalist. She recently completed her Master of Music Pedagogy at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in The Hague where she studied with Liesbeth Ackermans (violin) and Kees-Jan de Koning (voice). Currently, Alisa plays a Viotti Stradivarius violin made by the skilled luthier Hermann Janzen who resides in Mission, B.C., in Canada.
