From an early age, André van Vliet accompanied the services on Sunday. Meanwhile he was taught by Gijsbert Lekkerkerker and afterwards by Herman van Vliet. Then he continued his study at the conservatory in Utrecht, where he graduated in 1991. In choral concerts and evenings of singing he is a very welcome guest as accompanist both at the organ and the piano. At the same time the number of invitations for organ recitals has been growing. André is choirmaster of a couple of choirs and organist in his residence, Polsbroek.
