As an international concert musician, Arjan Breukhoven plays countless concerts in his own country every year, but he also gives many concerts abroad every year. This year he will make several tours through Germany, but also an organ concert tour through three states in the USA. In 2025 he will go to Australia for the 8th time for organ concerts in Perth, Albany and Sydney, but he will also play concerts in Germany and in Austria and Belgium.
Teacher Jan Brandwijk trained him for his conservatory studies. Arjan eventually obtained his final diplomas in organ and church music at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague in 1992 with his teachers Bert Matter and Wim van Beek.
In addition to being an organist and pianist, Arjan is also the conductor of four male choirs. Three male choirs in the Netherlands and he is also conductor of the “Australian Christian Men's Choir” in the Australian city of Perth. He also composes and organizes several concerts and is active with Vivre Uitvaartmuziek in providing live music at funerals.
For his inspiring activities at home and abroad and for his musical ambassadorship, Arjan very honorably received the royal award “Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau” in 2020. In 2014, he received the silver medal, the Medaille 'd Argent from the Societé Académique d' Éduction et d' Encouragement, in the French capital Paris.
