Arjan Wouters (1995) is a young musician from Lisse. He is active in the music world as an organist, pianist, and conductor. Arjan has been our regular conductor since the men's ensemble was founded in 2016.
Arjan began receiving organ lessons from Leen Schippers and Frank Segers at the age of 6. In 2015, he was admitted to the conservatory in Rotterdam (Codarts Music Education), where he studied organ for a year with Aart Bergwerff. Meanwhile, Arjan took inspiring piano lessons with Jan-Willem van Delft in Hilversum. In his second year of "Music Education," he switched from organ to piano as his main instrument. Arjan's current teacher is jazz pianist Walter Bertram.
In daily life, Arjan is very active in the music world alongside his studies. He conducts two choirs and is regularly asked to accompany on both organ and piano.
