Arjen is the church organist at the PKN Nieuwe Westerkerk in Capelle aan den IJssel and serves as the principal conductor for two mixed choirs, CGK Delfshaven and IKK Sparkling Voices. He is also the assistant conductor for the men's choir De Gouwestem. For the 2021 Christmas project of the youth choir Lois, Arjen is engaged as a répétiteur in Oud-Beijerland.
