The Overvoice Group IJsselmuiden was founded in January 2017. Starting as a small local group, we have grown to 90 men from the entire region who sing with us. We now participate in concerts across the country with various organists. We regularly collaborate with organist André Nieuwkoop. In addition to singing Psalms with the overvoice, we sometimes sing the overvoice with well-known hymns. We sing, among others, the Genemuider Bovenstem, but increasingly, we perform our own arrangements written by our conductor, Henk Frank Strijkert. We have also recorded multiple CDs and albums featuring our performances. We rehearse once every three weeks in IJsselmuiden.
