Christelijk Rotterdams Jongerenkoor 'Rejoice'

The Christian Rotterdam Youth Choir 'Rejoice' was founded in September 1992. If the choir registered 75 members when it was founded, 'Rejoice' now consists of approximately 120 members between the ages of 15 and 28. The choir's objective is to proclaim the gospel through song and music. The choir regularly performs during self-organized concerts and participates in singing evenings for the benefit of various charities. The choir's repertoire consists of spiritual songs, English and Dutch youth choir music, classical choir works and patriotic songs. Since its foundation, conductor Martin Mans has been the artistic director of the choir. In 1994, the choir hopes to tour Canada.
