Since 1994 Eric Quist (1977) has been church organist of the Reformed Congregation in Tholen
In 2002 he graduated Laude for organ major with Bas de Vroome at the Rotterdam Conservatory.
In 1998 Eric won first prize at the International Organ Competition for students in Leiden. In 2006 Eric successfully participated in the International Organ Competition in Nijmegen. He was awarded both the first prize and the audience prize.
After his studies and still today, Eric continues to develop his skills in improvisation.
He took lessons from Kees van Eersel, Jos van der Kooij, Geerten Liefting and Hayo Boerema.
He has published several CDs and sheet music collections.
