Gerco Brouwer

I am Gerco Brouwer (1975) and I come from Werkendam. My musical hobby started at home by a musical family, with the starting point actually being the Wegwijsbeurs, where Matthijs Koene and Jakob Schenk played the panpipes. At the age of about 18 (1993) I started taking lessons at the music school of Jan de Leeuw, then from 2000 lessons at the Romanian Costel Puscoiu. Playing together with others also gives connection. Was allowed to play with many choirs of Henriëtte de Bat-van Maelsaeke and Peter Wildeman. I am very grateful to them for this opportunity! I was also allowed to participate in various CD recordings, including at STH with the name Menuet 1 and 2. We have also been playing in an enthusiastic music group for a few years now, which is very nice. We have also been giving pan flute lessons for quite some time now, which is great, in order to be able to pass on your skills to others. And learned young is done old. All in all, it is nice to be able to put the talent you have received to good use!
