Gijsbert Kortleven (1996) discovered his love for the trumpet at a young age. At the age of 8, he received his first trumpet lessons from Henk van den Bergh in Ugchelen.
In the following years, he earned various diplomas and regularly accompanied the children's choir of which he was a member at the time.
In the years that followed, he took lessons from Edith Post and, for the past few years, from Arjan Post.
Gijsbert frequently accompanies choir and instrumental performances and contributes to wedding services.
He has also collaborated with various orchestras and ensembles.
In addition to his work as a traveling advisor at the Jacobus Fruytier School Community, Gijsbert teaches trumpet lessons to several students
