Henk-Jan Drost
More than 60.7k times played this month
Henk-Jan started taking trumpet lessons at the age of 9 at the Amersfoort Music School.
He was taught by Henk Brouwer, known from the Brouwer brothers, who prepared him for preliminary training at the Utrecht Conservatory.
There he took lessons with Willem van der Vliet, solo trumpeter with the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra (RPhO).
For years he formed a permanent duo with his father, Herman Drost.
The duo enjoyed great fame at home and abroad.
Many choir and singing evenings were graced with their playing.
They assisted us in dozens of CD recordings.
Foreign concert tours were made to Germany, Austria, England and Canada, among others.
