As a conductor, Henk Weekhout has led various choirs in the province Zeeland, as well as nationwide.
He started as conductor of youth choir "De Jonge Zangers" in Vlissingen (Zld). A year later he was asked to conduct men’s choir "Duivelands Mannenkoor" in Oosterland (Zld). Later on, he also led several mixed choirs, such as "Asaf", from Goes (Zld.), "Sursum Corda" from Middelburg, "Crescendo" from Kapelle-Biezelinge and "Advendo" from Nieuwe Tonge (Zld.)
During those years, he was also asked by organist/conductor Dick van Luttikhuizen to conduct the ‘Groot Samengesteld Mannenkoor’ (Greater Assembled Men’s Choir) with him for their tours across Europe.
