Reformed Men's Choir IJsselmuiden/Grafhorst.
The choir was founded in 1968 and has been able to encourage people through concerts in the region and in our country for more than 55 years. We work on radio, TV recordings and streaming platforms and we have our own YouTube channel.
Over the years, LPs and more than 10 CDs have also been released and recently even on USB sticks.
The choir has more than 100 members and we can say from young to old. For more than 25 years, the men's choir has been under the inspiring and enthusiastic leadership of conductor Freddy Veldkamp, who always knows how to enthuse us. This means that there is an atmosphere of friendship and solidarity within the choir. Partly because of this, young men also feel at home with our choir. During the rehearsals, attention is also paid to a good breathing technique and voice formation, which results in a beautiful choir sound and good intelligibility.
The repertoire consists of psalms and spiritual and patriotic songs.
We organize our own regular annual concerts, but also participate in singing evenings for charities.
Passion for music and singing means that we, as a men's choir, can spread the good news while singing.
