The orchestra was founded on the initiative of conductor Bert Moll and cellist Trix van Dijk with the aim of interpreting sacred music in a special and beautiful way.
Over the years, the Great National String Orchestra has more than earned its spurs and has managed to establish its name.
Through the cooperation of a solid core of motivated and enthusiastic
"Top musicians" many productions have been successfully realized.
Thanks to the continuous collaboration with André de Jager, many skilful arrangements for orchestra and choir are created.

Barbara Kurmann and with Bert Moll as her conductor.
