My name is Ilona Kampert, born on January 28, 2009. For my 7th birthday, I received a trial violin lesson. I really enjoyed my violin lessons, especially thanks to the Barneveld Youth Orchestra, where I happily went after two years of lessons.
However, when we got a piano at home in 2021, I couldn’t stay away from it. That’s why, after 5.5 years of violin lessons, I switched to piano lessons with Wouter Schalkoord at the age of 12. In 2024, I participated in the Terdege music competition, where I placed 2nd in the piano/organ category. This year, the piano was replaced with a grand piano, and I now spend hours every day playing with great joy.
