At home on the well-known Solina organ, Jacko has started playing.
At a young age he took organ lessons from the master at primary school.
After about 6 years that stopped, but the playing continued.
One day before his 17th birthday (in 1982) he became organist of the Reformed Congregation in Oostburg. This position is still fulfilled with pleasure to this day.
Around 2010 the annual Christmas party was started for the children to play together with various instruments. In the years that followed, this grew into a full-fledged ensemble. Jacko became the conductor and the music group was named Ensemble Vox Musica. The ensemble gained fame through performances at various singing evenings in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, but also beyond.
