Jacob Schenk (1973) studied the main subjects organ, choral conducting and church music at the CHK Constantijn Huygens in Zwolle. His teachers there were Harm Jansen, Jos Vermunt and Jos Leussink. He also took piano and singing as subsidiary subjects. Additional studies were followed with Harald Vogel (organ) and Matthijs Verschoor (piano). He also became proficient in panflute playing with the Romanian panflute player Nicolae Pîrvu. He is a conductor of the male choir Urker Zangers, cmk De Lofzang Heerde, Apeldoorns Christian Male Choir, Christian National Choir and jk Deum Fidentes. He is also one of the singers of At Once. He is an organist at the cgk Ichthus in Urk. He frequently participates in concerts, CD recordings and appearances for radio and TV. He made concert tours throughout Europe, Israel and Canada.
