Jan Post is an amateur musician who, among many other activities, plays the organ in his spare time at various choirs and singing evenings. Accompanying choirs is his hobby, where the text of the songs is primarily a guideline.
He has been the permanent organist of the youth choir "Viva Vox" since its inception.
In daily life, Jan Post is a teacher of religion/social studies at the SG Pieter Zandt in Kampen. In addition to his work, he has been practicing his great hobby for decades: playing the organ. For a number of years he was taught by John Propitius. He has participated in many hundreds of concerts and dozens of CDs as an accompanist on the organ. To use a cliché: a hobby that got out of hand. On Sundays he is organist in the Herv. Gem. in Elspeet, also his place of residence. He enjoys participating in the concerts of various choirs.
