The pianist Jeroen Liedorp started playing the piano at the age of ten. He studied with Jan Groeneveld and Frans Wieringa. He obtained his Teaching Musician and Performing Musician diploma with Michael Davidson at the Rotterdam Conservatory. He subsequently obtained his degree in song accompaniment from Kelvin Grout. He took master classes with Lazar Berman, Philippe Entremont and Graham Johnson, and played in the Rotterdam Young Philharmonic in 1999. During that year they played pieces by Kurt Weil with Jasperina de Jong as soloist. Jeroen is also active as a chamber musician. He has made several radio recordings with various flutists. Jeroen is the pianist of it
chamber music ensemble Aria Balsamica and works as an accompanist with, among others, the Capella Constancis choir from Schoonhoven. Jeroen works as a song accompanist with, among others, soprano Ingrid Kappelle.
