The children's choir was founded in 1978 and is associated with the Reformed Community in Veenendaal.
Since 2004, the choir has been under the enthusiastic leadership of Jan Hendrik van Schothorst. This choir is intended for children in grades 4, 5, and 6. The choir rehearses every Thursday evening from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
The teenagers from grades 7 and 8 who are part of our teenage choir "Jedidjah" sing along during rehearsals and performances to support the children's choir. The children sing psalms and spiritual songs, thus conveying the biblical message during concerts.
Approximately 6 to 8 times a year, the choir performs concerts in their own church, nursing homes, or participates in singing evenings organized by foundations. Bert Roest often accompanies them on the piano during these concerts.
