Johan Petersen was born in the beautiful Harderwijk, located in the Veluwe region of the Netherlands. At the age of 17, Johan began singing in a male choir, where he quickly became fascinated by choral singing. Since then, Johan has embarked on his musical journey by singing in various choirs, including those led by Martin Mans.
This journey has led Johan to join the Urker Mans Formatie, where he holds a permanent position as the first tenor. Additionally, Johan is regularly invited to contribute as a soloist at various concerts, church services, and other musical events.
The goal of Johan's singing is to magnify the Lord and to convey this to the audience.
