Jongerenkoor Elad is affiliated with the Reformed Community of Elspeet and was founded in 2010 by Marieke Seekles-van Manen. The choir, initially consisting of 25 members, has since grown to 90 enthusiastic members aged 15-40 years.
In 2014, the choir recorded its first CD titled "Die God prijst" (He Who praises God). This title refers to the meaning of the name Elad, as found in 1 Chronicles 7.
In 2015, the choir released the next CD, in collaboration with various youth choirs. In 2017, the third CD was recorded, this time in collaboration with the Men's Choir Jubilate Deo. The most recent recording, "Zo word Zijn lof vergroot" (Thus His praise is magnified), was made in collaboration with the youth choir De Nachtegaaltjes, also from Elspeet.
