KEES VOGER organ
Until the age of twenty, Kees Volger was a student of Simon C. Jansen, the well-known organist of the Westerkerk in Amsterdam.
After his university studies, he enrolled at the Arnhem Conservatory, where his teachers were Johan van Dommele and Bert Matter on the Zwart organ, which had been transferred from Amsterdam to Arnhem. After several years of lectureship in Applied Linguistics at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, he left for Hiefenech (Heffingen) in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, where he is organist and harpsichordist in the Orchester de Chambre de Luxembourg.
He accompanies choirs and soloists at public concerts, on record and cassette, for radio and television.
Kees died in a serious traffic accident on May 12, 2014 in France.
