Loes van Schothorst

After the teacher training college in Gouda, Loes van Schothorst studied school music at the Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Tilburg. At this institute she also studied singing with Frans Fiselier and Xenia Meijer.
She is currently studying with Hanneke de Wit. Van Schothorst teaches music at the Hoornbeeck College in Amersfoort and at the Driestar University of Applied Sciences in Gouda.
As a soprano, Van Schothorst has collaborated in numerous concerts and CD recordings of classical repertoire, ranging from the Messiah and the St Matthew Passion to Brahms' Requiem.
The singer regularly performs with pianist Wouter Harbers. She is also involved in the concerts of Studium Chorale in Maastricht and will sing with the Bach Choir Holland.
As a voice coach, Van Schothorst works for various Christian choirs in the Netherlands.
