Louwe Kramer (1957) has been the conductor of Crescendo since February 1999. At a young age he started his musical studies, which were interrupted by the introduction of North Sea fishing. After years of fishing, he came back "ashore" and continued with, among other things, the conductor training. Louwe took over the baton from his father Meindert Kramer, making him the third generation of Kramer to run Crescendo.
