Biography Lydia Zeevat – WITH HAPPY SOUNDS
Lydia Zeevat (2002) was born in the village of Elspeet on the Veluwe. From her early years she has been drawn by music. At the age of 10 she started taking harp lessons with Ilse Lassche - Dekker at the music school in Harderwijk. Since 2021, Lydia has been taking harp lessons with Regina Ederveen in Doornspijk. Through these lessons, a broad foundation has been laid for her musical knowledge. Its purpose is to proclaim the Gospel through the psalms and spiritual songs, but also to make you enjoy the melodies on the harp.
From the age of 14, Lydia is invited to various nursing and retirement homes in the Veluwe. As of 2019 she performs at weddings and in restaurants. She enjoys editing and writing the music in her own style. This music can be heard in this album 'with happy sounds', where she collaborates with Peter Wilderman who accompanies her on the organ.
