I was born on December 17, 1967 in Swalmen (Limburg). My father was Austrian, which is why I go by the surname Zimmer. As a 2-year-old boy I liked to "drum" on my mother's pots and pans and later I crawled straight behind the piano or picked up the guitar every afternoon after school.
After high school I studied for 6 years at the Conservatory in Zwolle. Already during my studies it became clear, and that was also my greatest desire, that God wanted to use my talents to take people into worship, not only by making music but also by writing songs (including 'Our Father', 'At Your Feet', 'Lift me up' and 'Lord, You are always with me').
I have been working as a freelance musician for about 25 years now and we have bundled our work in the company Celmar Music.
For the last 10 years, we have been providing concerts and performances for adults, young people and children in churches and municipalities throughout the country. It's great to be able to express our love to God with music and singing together with young and old.
