Marieke Seekles - van Manen (1987) developed an interest in music at a young age. At the age of six, she joined a children's choir and later sang in various youth choirs.
She also took organ lessons for 10 years and had several years of vocal training. In March 2010, she took the initiative to start a youth choir in Elspeet.
After learning from other conductors, she completed a one-year conducting course offered by the BZGG. Marieke conducted the Hollands Youth Choir for two seasons in the Elspeet and Barneveld regions.
She has also released several CDs from the Veluwe children's singing days.
