Marien Stouten (1983) is organist of the Nieuwe Kerk in Zierikzee and the Grote of Sint-Nicolaaskerk in Brouwershaven. He studied organ at the conservatory of Ghent with Ignace Michiels.
Before that, he studied with Martin Mans and Rinus Verhage.
At the age of fifteen he became a church organist and also gave his first concerts. Marien is the conductor of Mixed Choir De Lofstem from Arnemuiden, Mixed Choir Vox Humana and Men's Choir Tehillim from Dordrecht and the Zeeland Project Choir.
Together he forms an organ duo with Jan Peter Teeuw, together they recorded two CDs, recorded in Recklinghausen and Dudelange. Marien is also a recording engineer for Animato Music Productions and Voxus Virtual Organs.
