Marije van Dam was born in Ede in 2002. When she heard the flute from a primary school teacher, she knew: I want to play the flute. After taking recorder lessons for a year, this dream became reality. In 2011 she started taking lessons with Christianne van Gelder. She still does this with great pleasure. In making music she can express her emotions and it gives her energy.
Since September 2016 she is 1st flutist with ensemble Con Passione. In 2019 she obtained her D diploma, she completed her practical exam with an 8.5. With her collaboration on the album Gloria in excelsis Deo she also gained experience in making an album.
