Mark (1986) was born and raised in Tholen. From a young age, Mark has had a passion for music. In his younger years, while following the classical guitar course at the Zeeland Music School, which was completed laude, Mark became more and more familiar with accompanying choirs and soloists by playing in various combos. Later the focus shifted to the bass guitar and double bass. Over the years, the interest and desire to become a choir conductor also arose. During and after following a successfully completed choral conducting course, Mark started working as a conductor at the Interdenominational Men's Choir Tholen, which choir he was allowed to lead for 10 years. To this day, Mark is still active in accompaniment combos with various choirs and is one of the accompanists of Tenira Sturm and Christian Verwoerd, among others.
