From an early age Martin Zonnenberg (1958) has had a passion for the organ. At age 12 he accompanied several choirs.
He studied in The Hague and Den Bosch (Lennard’s Institute), where he specialised in conducting and school music.

Martin is organist in Sliedrecht (Naber organ, 1852) and Nieuwpoort (van den Heuvel organ, 1976). He is conductor of the 175 members’ male choir Chr. Sliedrechts Mannenkoor “Ichthus” and the Kleinkoor "Concertino”. Further, Martin is also engaged with the composing and orchestration of the well-known TV programma “Nederland Zingt”.

Outside Europe he performed as conductor, pianist and organist in Israël, Canada the United States of America.

As composer he is known for his orchestration and various compositions for choir, organ and orchestra.

In 2002 he was decorated. (Lid in de orde van Oranje Nassau).
