Minne van der Staal (17 June 1879 – 16 November 1946) was a Dutch writer and journalist. Van der Staal was a son of Jacob Dirks van der Staal and Beitske Minnes Dijkstra.
Van der Staal was one of the editors of De Rotterdammer (a predecessor of Trouw) in 1903. Between 1907 and 1916 he was a contributor to this newspaper. He also worked for the Stichtse Courant and for the political party AR.
In 1916, as a journalist, Van der Staal visited Marken, Bunschoten and Spakenburg, which had been seriously affected by the flood of 1916. Later that year, he was commissioned by the Flood Committee to write the book January Flood.
