My name is Myrthe van Hulst and I am a professional cellist. I graduated from the conservatory of Zwolle and since then I have been performing and teaching cello with great pleasure. I teach in Harderwijk in my own teaching practice and in Apeldoorn at Kunstcentrum Gigant.
As a performing cellist, I love to play different styles of music. I have participated in many CD, DVD and TV recordings and play in the orchestra of Ars Musica. In addition, I am actively involved in chamber music with Muzinder, a young collective of professional performing artists. I also accompany choirs and I played with the band Sela.
For me, it's a pleasure to be able to work with different musicians! The trick is to convey the music together in such a way that people are touched. Because music is inextricably linked to emotion. And that's why music is such a powerful tool to help people.
