I grew up outside Hoofddorp, along the runways of Schiphol Airport. We were used to having two airplanes take off within a minute during the summer. Others were amazed that we could hear each other outside. After finishing high school, I pursued nursing training at the Bronovo Hospital in The Hague. After a few years, I couldn't handle the rotating shifts anymore. That's why I started doing secretarial work through a temp agency. This allowed me to work in various companies with different tasks. It was very enjoyable to get a glimpse into different working environments in this way.
