Pascal started playing the trumpet at the still active music association Crescendo in Dreischor (Zeeland). At the Zeeland Music School he received trumpet lessons from Anton Kempe and Ronald Baljeu. He then graduated laude as a Bachelor of Music at the Utrecht Conservatory with teacher Willem van der Vliet. He continued his studies at Escola Superior de Musica de Catalunya in Barcelona with teacher Angel Serrano, where he graduated in 2007 as Master of Music. Pascal also received some lessons from Maurice André (a world-famous trumpet soloist) during the Internacional Curso de Musica 2007 in Benidorm.
Pascal has starred in musical productions such as Evita (2007 and 2018), Joseph and the amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Mary Poppins, Ciske de Rat (2016), Was Signed Annie M.G. Schmidt and Anastasia. He also worked in many Dutch orchestras, including the Promenade Orchestra and the Orchestre Particolare. On television, Pascal can be seen and heard, among others, on Nederland Zingt.
Pascal is a well-known player in the choral world, regularly participating in choral concerts throughout the Netherlands. He also likes to play regularly with organists such as Sander van Marion, Martin Zonnenberg, Hugo van der Meij, Marien Stouten and Harm Hoeve.
Pascal is a music teacher at Muziekschool Zeeland and teaches trumpet, flugelhorn and cornet students. He is also active as a MaakMuziek Coach for this music school. A new form of music education according to the MaakMuziek Methodiek. Pascal has immersed himself in the Music Playground Sessions, a new form of ensemble playing.
