Rebecca Rozendaal (1999) has been playing the violin since she was five years old.
From 2004 to 2008 she took her lessons at music school ToBe with Laura van der Woord. In 2009 she continued her studies at the Rotterdam Hellendaal Music Institute where she was taught by Hélène van Leeuwen.

Rebecca mostly plays classical music, including works by Bach, Beethoven and Mendelssohn. Since 2014 she regularly accompanies choirs during their concerts. She also collaborated on several CD recordings.

Together with her husband Jan Rozendaal, Rebecca searches for the expression of the words in music. Emotion, musicality and experience are of great importance.

Rebecca plays a German violin from the eighteenth century. Due to its age and fine construction, it has a unique warm sound. The bow also comes from a German violin maker.

She has her own teaching practice in Nieuw-Lekkerland.
