René van Wendel was born on 27 October 1997 in Grafhorst.
From the very beginning, his preference was for organ music and congregational singing. From about the age of 6 he started playing the organ himself.
Despite his intentions to take organ lessons, he has remained with his own style with minimal knowledge of notes.
He soon got bored of the organ lessons and he put an end to this after a year and a half.
In February 2016, at repeated request, he organized his first psalm singing evening in the Oude Kerk in Barneveld.
Several evenings followed and in October 2019 he released his 1st congregational singing CD from the Grote of St. Stephanus Kerk in Hasselt.
Despite the fact that the evenings require a lot of effort (since he is a truck driver in daily life), he gets a lot of satisfaction from playing the organ and the congregational singing evenings.
With God's blessing, he hopes to be able to accompany many psalm singing evenings in the future.
