Ria van den Noort started in 1984 with the choir training and conducting at the Open University in Rotterdam. Shortly after this I started with the Seba children's choir in Krimpen aan den IJssel. This gave rise to the Seba girls' choir. She has been associated with these choirs as a conductor for 25 years. She has also conducted the Seba mixed choir in Krimpen aan den IJssel for 5 years.
In addition to the "Seba choirs" from Krimpen aan den IJssel, she has been a member of the children's choir De Kleinnoot from Capelle aan den IJssel for 10 years, and she regularly filled in as a guest conductor with various choirs, including the men's choir Groot Rotterdam.
In 2005 she became conductor of the children's choir Blijde Klanken in Alblasserdam and in 2009 conductor of the Dutch Youth Choir.
In 2008 the Young Ladies Choir Hadassah in Krimpen aan den IJssel started, and in 2013 youth choir Speranza in Barneveld, of which she is the conductor to this day.
Many CD recordings have been made with the various choirs and also trips abroad.
She has also participated in a number of choir trips abroad, CD recordings with composite choir groups, children and people with intellectual disabilities.
She also regularly coaches singers and soloists, including Lisanne Leeuwenkamp and in recent years Janine Wilbrink.
