The Ridderkerks Men's Choir, originating from the Reformed Congregation of Ridderkerk, was founded in 1990 and has more than 100 members, who come from the wider region of Ridderkerk. Since March 2020, the choir has been conducted by Frans Cornet. The permanent organist is Bert Roest. The main purpose of the choir is expressed in the statutes: the singing of Psalms and spiritual songs, the content of which corresponds to God's Word and the three forms of Unity
The content of the sung texts, which we sing exclusively in our own language, refers to the foundation of the choir, namely God's Word, in which the psalms occupy a special place.
