Roel Tekkelenburg has been taking organ lessons from Adrie-Jan de Korte, Martin den Boer, and John Propitius from the age of 11 until he turned 23.
As an organist, he currently accompanies not only the children's choir Laus Deo but also the mixed choir Magnalia Dei, and he is the organist of the Reformed Community of Amersfoort.
When playing the organ, he finds it important to stay close to the text being sung. In this way, he contributes to the praise to the honor of God (Psalm 22 verse 4 unadapted).
