Sebastiaan van Lingen (1987) started as a boy soprano at the Stadsknapenkoor Gorcum at the age of 8. After his voice broke, he continued singing as a countertenor. Sebastiaan enjoys singing early music and music by Bach. He regularly performs solo in Bach's Cantatas and other early music. He sings with Stichting Dutch Baroque (Gerard de Wit) and Stichting Ars Musica (Patrick van der Linden). Sebastiaan also contributed as a tenor soloist in CD recordings with the children's choir Obadja conducted by Hendrik Bouw. Sebastiaan took singing lessons with vocal coach Ilona de Kievit.
