Stijn Hanssens (°1982) obtained the degree of Master of Music: Organ, the Specialization Diploma in Organ and a Master in Composition at the Lemmens Institute. He is currently doing his PhD at the K.U.Leuven on the influences and evolutions within Belgian organ music from the interwar period. He is a teacher at the academy of Dilbeek and is a researcher at the Lemmens Institute. He regularly participates in concerts and is a member of the editorial board of the magazine Orgelkunst.
