Tenira was born on 3 August 1999 in the Dutch city of The Hague.
When she was very young it became clear that she really wanted to sing and had a talent for it. This hobby has since grown further.
In 2011, Tenira joined the Interclassic Music Competition (now the Dutch Premiere Competition). During this period she also started taking singing lessons with mezzo-soprano/alto and singing teacher Annemarie Verburg from Maassluis. Tenira was one of the winners of the 2011 competition. After this, she was soon invited to participate in a number of concerts in Kruiningen, Yerseke, Kesteren, and Monster, among others. This has since grown further.
Since April 2013 Tenira has been taking singing lessons with soprano and singing teacher Mirjam Feijer in The Hague and started taking piano lessons in September of this year.
