Wilbert Magré (1992) was introduced to the love of music at a very early age by his father, Wim Magré. For many years he received piano lessons from Herman Riphagen from Heerde.
As organist he is associated with the Restored Reformed Congregation in Doornspijk, the Reformed Congregation in Elburg and the Reformed Church in Doornspijk. He is also a regular organist on Sundays in the Services Met Belangstellenden in the English Church (Begijnhof) in Amsterdam and the Grote Kerk (Loolaan) in Apeldoorn.
The musician has the following choirs under his direction: the Young Ladies Choir Rejoice from Nunspeet, the Noorder Youth Choir in Drachten, Vocalgroup Undique and the Veluws Mannenensemble. He is also the conductor of the Groot Nederlands Johannes de Heer choir, which consists of 700 members and rehearses at eight different locations throughout the country at the beginning of the year and then gives various concerts.
Concert tours were made to many beautiful churches abroad such as Notre Dame de Paris, the Cathedral in Cologne and various churches in Vienna. At the well-known online music service Spotify, Wilbert has thousands of listeners per month. He is also a much sought-after organist/pianist at funeral and wedding services.
